16" Egyptian multi-color necklace, Cartouche center

Inspired by a reproduction of an Egyptian necklace, enhanced by Lapis, Aventurine and Carnelian beads, with cartouche center.

From the tomb of Ramses second. New Empire of Egypt, 19th Dynasty.
It reads: “Ra messu meri Amen”, meaning: Pharaoh Ramses beloved by the god Amen.

Gold-filled beads. Cartouche (Hieroglyph) center is in 24k gold-plate over pewter. Measures approximately 16” (40cm) long.
