Egyptian Nefer earrings

Our earrings were inspired by a string of beads in the shape of a “Nefer” hieroglyph (original image above). Found by William W. Flinders Petrie on an excavation in 1921.

The Nefer charms created for the necklace imitate the shape of “Nefer” sign, which means Goodness and Beauty. These adornments were intended to symbolically transfer such attributes to the wearer.

24 Karat gold-plate over pewter. Measures approximately 0.4" x 1.25".
