Indian green flower brooch

       Exotic floral detail of this jewel taken from the finest known 110.07 carat naturalistic carved emerald.
The piece may well have adorned a throne.   Mughal, India, 17th century A.D.

       Enameled 24 karat gold-plate over pewter.  Measures approximately 1" x 1.25".
