Islamic ornate VERY important brooch

     This ornate brooch earrings decorated in high relief with floral scrolls and cloud bands, adapted from the central medallion of a famous gilded leather bookbinding. Original design on left.
     Turkey, mid 16th century.
     24K gold-plate over pewter & brass. Measures approximately 1.1” x 1.2”.
