Roman Dolphin earrings

     Inspired by a Twin Dolphin design during the Roman Empire, early 4th century AD.     In Ancient Rome Dolphins were attributed to the Roman water god Neptune.   They appeared in architecture and jewelry.
     24 Karat gold plate over pewter.  Gold-filled ear wires.  Each earring measures approximately 1/2" x 1 1/8".
